We are dedicated to making sure your experience with InArt Decor is as easy and rewarding as it can possibly be.
Do You have a printed catalog?
Having expansive art work collections which are constantly updated with new works, and in an effort to reduce paper consumption, we do not produce a traditional catalog. Our complete collections are most easily browsed online and virtually all our information is available on our website. Also, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.
How do I get pricing for your products?
Due to the “custom” nature of our products and services we ask that you contact us for pricing based on the specifics of your project. With just a little information, we can provide you with the pricing information you need. Please note that due to the “custom” nature of our products and services, a fifty percent (50%) deposit is required prior to production or creative services.
What are the file requirements?
While file requirements vary slightly depending on the printed material used, typically all digital art files need to be very high resolution, clean, and sharp to produce a successful large scale work. Refer to our File Preparation Guidelines at the start of art development to ensure the final files provided are properly sized and formatted. We review all files submitted to ensure suitability for large scale use. We can further assist with any additional cleaning or file preparation that might be required.
What file formats do you accept?
While we can work from nearly any image or graphic file format, we find the best results are obtained using the original scan file or native layered file of the program which was used to create the work. High Resolution scans (saved as tif), Adobe Photoshop (psd or psb), Adobe Illustrator (ai or eps), Adobe In Design, and Quark Express typically provide the best final press files. Refer to our File Preparation Guidelines for more details.
What is the difference between “digital inkjet” and “digital photographic”?
Digital Inkjet is a 720 dpi “CMYK” process. Digital Photographic is a “continues tone” “RGB” photographic process.
How large of a mural/artistic installation can I have produced?
The easy answer is, “there are no limits”. The images from our “Library” of artistic images are created to be produced at virtually any size. Photographically, we can scan a supplied photograph or negative and produce that image at almost any size. We can digitally “stitch” several photographic images together or “clone” a single image to create a larger scene. In the “cloning” process, we can “re-touch” the “cloned” areas to prevent the “repeat” look. If you are considering an image from one of the “on-line” photo houses, we strongly suggest that you allow us to review the image prior to you purchasing the image.
Can you create a “custom” mural from reference material or ideas that we provide to you?
Yes, in fact this is one of our main strengths. Our muralists have translated their decades of experience painting grand scale murals “on-site” to producing the same high quality work digitally. We will work with you from initial sketches and color renderings to the final approved file to provide your ideal artistic installation.
Do you sell and ship internationally?
Yes, we can produce to metric standards and ship our products worldwide.
How do I order your products or creative services?
Once we have provided you with a quote based on your project requirements, the ordering process is simple. Based on the quote, we would ask for a “Purchase Order” and a fifty percent (50%) deposit. Once both are received, we begin the creative/production process.
What are your lead times?
Due to the “custom” nature of our products and services lead times can vary. Generally, a “strike off” can be shipped to you within 3 to 5 business days from your approval of the creative. Generally, the final product will ship within 7 to 10 business days from the “strike off” approval. Lead time discussion will be a part of the project information/quoting process.
What is a “strike off”?
A “strike off” is a full sized cropped section taken from your overall image. It is produced on the same material with the same finishing as the final product. This provides you with an exact sample of the final product.
Do you have samples that I can see and show to my clients
Yes, we have sample kits that can be sent for your review. Due to the high cost of these kits, they will need to be returned. The kits can also be purchased if you would like.
What if I want to cancel my order after I have sent the 50% deposit?
Our mission is to provide you with the highest quality interior artistic installations. We realize however that client needs and budgets can change. With that in mind, your full deposit will be returned to you minus any amount for “work already performed”.
Do you handle the installation?
Yes, we can provide installation throughout the United States. If the General Contractor or Sub Contractor is performing the installation, we will work with them to assure a smooth and problem free install.
Are your products fire rated and do you have “specification” sheets for the product?
Yes, all of our products meet or exceed the NFPA 701 standard. Please click on (insert page name as link) to go to our “specification” sheets.
Can you help me “visualize” what the final installation will look like?
Simply provide us with a digital photograph of the site “location” for the mural/artistic installation, and we can “insert” your into the scene for your review and approval.
Will you provide input about your murals/artistic installations during the planning stages for the interior “space”?
Yes, by allowing us to work with you from the beginning of a project, we can make suggestions that best suit your specific space and your final vision. By giving us the opportunity to review the floor plan/elevation and your ideas for that space, we can identify any potential issues (if they exist) and suggest alternatives as needed.
Can I choose an image from an “on-line” photo house?
“On-line” photo houses offer additional images which can serve as an idea or starting point for your mural or work. Please keep the following information in mind as you review these sites/images;
  1. Generally the photographic images on these sites should not be used for enlarged murals exceeding 6 feet (2 meters) for the widest dimension
  2. The images are generally pricy
  3. There may be licensing and “rights” issues associated with some images for use as murals
  4. Please do not purchase any images prior to allowing “InArt Décor” the opportunity to review the images for suitability for the specific project
If you find an image or images for your project on these sites, and your project exceeds six feet (6’) in the widest dimension, we may be able to do the following to accommodate your needs;
  1. InArt Décor can create a collage from multiple photographic images.
  2. InArt Décor can digitally re-touch the image
  3. InArt Décor can use the image as a guide to create a “painterly”, “photo-realistic” or “abstract” mural. For murals derived from rights protected images, additional licensing fees and/or royalties still need to be paid depending on the final use of the image. Only abstracted interpretations , which are “significantly” different from the original rights protected image, may be exempt from image licensing fees/royalties
Please do not hesitate to contact “InArt Décor” with any questions or concerns regarding this process.

InArt Decor utilizes the latest in large scale digital art printing technology to reproduce your art work at full size on our wallcovering, fabrics, and other materials. Our digital art printing technology allows us reproduce faithfully the brush strokes and painterly nuances of our works at virtually any size or scale.
How Do I Review and Approve a Digital Art Work?
Your art work choice or commissioned work, having been custom sized and tailored by our artists according to your directions, is first printed at small scale as an artist's proof and sent for you to approve. Once you approve the proof, our artists produce the full scale digital art work suitable for full scale printing. Strike off sample areas are then printed on the specified material to provide an exact representation of the color and detail present in the final full scale work. Once you approve the strikeoff, the final full scale art work is then printed.
How do I approve Art Work Colors?
The colors of the art work images viewed on this site may vary from the colors of the actual works due to differences in the way computer monitors and screens display colors. This is why we always send an artist's proof print for initial color approval and strike off prints for final color approval before producing your full size art work. Proof prints provide a much closer way to initially represent the colors that will appear in your final work while strike offs show the exact final colors of the full size art work.
